Which is positively ludicrous, as I've passed up nice 87's (passenger not camper) for $3500 or so around here in the mid-Atlantic. Someone in the northwest would be crazy to pay that money when they could simply drive across country and buy one, hell even if you factored in air faire. '86-'88 7 pass syncros go asking under $3k at auction around here. IMHO the origional poster is right on for asking price given the new heads.
