I'm about to replace the stabilizer (sway bar) link bushings on my 86' Westy. It looks rather straightforward. But ...

Does anyone know if the stabilizer bar which is mounted to the chasis is under pressure ? That is, if I unscrew the bar mount bolts, is the bar going to pop back at me ? I'll have the nuts on the bottom end of the links removed (loosened).
