Here's some info I recieved on the stainless exhaust system: " Dave,

Yes, although the availability of Vanagon systems has been delayed many times, it could become available soon (a month or so, I hope).

I'll give you some details right now:

- Made entirely of stainless steel, types 409 and 304. - Most components interchangeable with original quality parts. - One exception where we integrate the late model cast-iron "Y" with the collector. - Pipe set available first, cat and muffler later. - Pipe set will sell for approx. $550 to $575 US.

Exhaust systems are formed using computerized equipment and fixture

welded for an exact and guaranteed fit.

When the systems become available, pictures, final pricing and other details will be available on a web site. I'll notify all interested

parties at that time.

Vanagon owners should find our systems to be an unbeatable value. Compared to even the least costly of aftermarket parts, our systems

pay for themselves after a single replacement (especially for Syncro owners) - not to mention the labor cost savings.

Hope that answers your questions, let me know if you have any others.

John Denis P.Eng.
