I just had the same problem, Bruce.

I took it to a local propane shop (a big place that converts fleet vehicles to run on propane).

Turned out to be the propane service valve (the on/off one on the side of the van) that was leaking. This turned out to be a domestic part which was replaced for 36.00 US including a new tank of gas.
