Wow. 220 degrees celsius. My friend, you're talking about 428 degrees fahrenheit. My 69 runs HOT at 250 degrees fahrenheit. You have some SERIOUS problems somewhere that you need to take immediate care of. An external oilcooler is only an avoidance of the problem, not a cure. I have a friend who races a Datsun...High lift cam, overbored as far as that little 1600 will go, keeps it around 8-9 thousand rpm most of the time, runs about 280. Fahrenheit.
