Hi all, I've had Nandi, my '90 syncro adventurewagen for several months now and have enjoyed a few camping excursions, but only in the 'civilized outback', by which I mean state/local parks, company campground, (and one national forest- Los Padres), and never off-road. But my camping aesthetics lean towards minimal faclities/asphalt, and maximum solitude. So can anyone offer specific camping destination suggestions close to the San Francisco bay area (say, within 5 hours) where I can get away from the campground crowds for 2-5 day outings and revel in my decision to buy a syncro? Where do other syncro owners go 'off road' to get away? Thanks, Stephen |
