I'm taking off soon to cruise for a while, and this stretch I've never done and know nothing about. I would be very appreciative of any nudges regarding where to camp. Remote/isolated is first choice; my ex is joining me for this part of the trip, and he's a purist. I think I'm taking the canoe, definitely am taking a float tube and fly rod, so places with water would be great. Actually, I'd be thankful for any tips on the area: out of the way ~appear to be~ dive restaurants with excellent food, must-see things, excellent bookstores. :-) I should be leaving Glacier sometime around the second week in August, if that helps.
