all right!!! my 1980 standard westy is a rarity! when i bought it i didn't even know there were deluxes and standards. as someone else said "our vw's pick us, we don't pick them". I think i'll sell my 80 westy and buy a loaf, hey, i'll buy a couple loafs with all the money i'll make selling my rare standard. for those of you who have never seen one it has no propane tank, no stove, but has icebox, sink, revolving front seats, L-shaped rear seat with three seatbelts (this is a definite plus), cabinetry is slightly different as the extra seatbelted seat is in place of the deluxe cabinet there. the fourth seat in the back is next to the sink and is the L part of the back 3 person bench seat. by the way, i'm not kinding about selling the vanagon westy for a loaf westy. eric henning@fp.com |
