The radiator fan switch has a low speed and a high speed curcuit. When the low speed doesn't work any more, the high speed curcuit kicks in. You need to replace the fan switch located behind your lower grill on the drivers side. The cooling system will need to be properly bleed afterwards. When that high speed comes on, it sure is noisy.
