Ron,

You're not going to want to do what I did. I pulled the transmission because I was swapping it. I drained it out of the vehicle and tipped it up to get all of the fluid out. Having said that, it seemed to me that the vast majority came out just draining it in the normal horizontal position. I'd be surprised if there were still 1.5 ats remaining after a normal draining.
