Noticed as I began to cleanup my crankshaft that the bearings I was sold were not like the ones on the crank. My astute salesman at NOPI assured me that the 1.9 and 2.1 used the exact same bearings. NOT SO! My aunt Edna, if I had one, could tell that they were very different. So... one set of Kolbenschmidt 2.1 standard main bearings available to anyone who needs them for the paltry price of $50 plus $3 for shipping. Yes...less than they sell for from the friendly folks at Bus Depot. BTW they were able to check their numbers and found that the bearings are not the same. Why couldn't the others? Don 84 Vangeaux |
