Volks, I have a GEO with BP's in them. I got the plugs before I heard about how bad they are, and when the car was on its last engine (which threw a rod- after a Slick 50 treatment). Anyway, the new engine had a valve job (at 45K!!!!!!) and started missing again; checked out the plugs to find out that one had its top electrode tear off. Anyway, in a pinch, the Platinums went in the car. Just so you know, I'll check them out every 1K and post my findings to the list. I figure my car is a good test case- cyl. #1 has bad rings, giving me a control and variable. This way, I'll know HOW fast these things foul up, and under what conditions. BTW, the car runs wonderfully right now.
