Bruce, I have replaced the light bulb behind the heater knobs. Use a pair of needle nose pliers and remove the black heater control knobs carefully one at a time. With a flat blade screwdriver pry each corner of the faceplate. There are plastic pins in each corner. Use care when removing. Once off, you will see that light bulb will fit into a tube that will light up the faceplate only.
