This was a forward from a professional technician's mailing list that I am on. Since I am not completely familiar with all the bugs of the wasserbox, (I do know the 2.0 wasn't offered in 84) I pass some of the Vanagon questions on to the list, in the hopes that someone might come up with an intelligent answer for this fellow mechanic. I feel the more technicians who have more experience with Vanagons, the better off we'll all be. So do me a favor and read your mail completely, make sure you're replying to the right person. I don't forward these posts expecting miracles, and these are going to (and coming from) people who work on cars everyday, so if you can send them something you have experience with, please do. Thanks, Patrick. |
