HI Todd. This Michael, 87 syncro, North Bend. From what I've noticed lately, you sure know your sycnro trans. I also didn't know that you are a dealer tech. So am I. Thanks for helping me out a few weeks ago, on figuring out how to reduce the RPM at 70 MPH from 4000 RPM. I haven't done anything yet. What dealer do you work at? I'm at the Bellevue dealer, shop foreman. I'll be in the Hillsboro training center this week. Will you be there? I have a syncro trans (core) that I never sent back to German transaxle. I believe it's rebuildable, the trans sounded like there were rocks grinding away in the trans, the van wasn't driveable. My syncro doesn't bite its tires anymore when making sharp turns in parking lots. I wonder if my V.C. is slowly going out. It still is working though. What do you think? See ya.
