It sticks up about 1.5". Low enough that I figure I can hide it under the westfalia bed by carving the matress a bit. The install is going very well. Exhaust is done, lots of flow! Glasspack may be a bit loud. :) Cooling hooked up. Throttle cable modified and extended. Fuel pump installed and fresh fuel line installed. I've parsed the jetta wiring harness down to 8 or 10 wires exiting it to be hooked up. I'm taking pictures and notes and will put the whole thing with critical info on the web after I get it running and have had a few days off in the desert.
