A FRIEND PICKED UP A SET, FRONT AND REAR IN 1985 FOR FOR MY THEN NEW GL. IN OXFORD?? ENGLAND . THE REARS HAD A WOLFSBURG CREST PAINTED ON AND THE FRONTS WERE PLAIN. THE NEAT THING WAS THEY WERE CLAMP ON AND ONLY COST ABOUT $100. FOR THE SET. I HAD MY VANAGON FOR 9 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I THINK I HAVE THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT WITH THE NAME OF THE DEALER AND THE PART NUMBERS. IF THERE IS ANY IN ENGLAND READING THIS LIST PERHAPS THEY CAN CHECK TO SEE IF THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE SPENCER
