Problem: Air Conditioning not cooling Diagnosis: Small leak at the crimp in the hose from the receiver dryer to the condensor. Solution: 1. Replace hose (suppliers: available? cost ?-please) and recharge with R12 2. Refurbish the entire system to accept new refrigerant (R134???) at "considerable cost". 3. Find someone who will recharge with R12----it will cool for the summer at some cost to our deteriorating environment.

Question: Since the spot of the leak has been determined, is there any kind of patch that will tolerate the high pressures found in the pressure side of this system?

As always, thanks for your collective sagesse.

Leo
