The 4 spd. (091) manual transmission in my '84 Vanagon Wolfsburg just sufferred some type of internal breakage. A little rumbling noise but no go in any gear.

Does anyone have a used or rebuilt tranny I can buy(or can recommend a reasonable rebuild shop?) Something preferably in the Boulder/Denver metro area. Failing that, any experience or recommendations on long-distance buying and shipping of such a large, heavy item?

TIA

Jerry
