Subject: Eurovan AC receiver/drier - replacement part from Chrysler?
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

Hi,

I have the problem with my EV AC receiver/drier where road debris kicked up by the right front tire has broken the exposed fitting. I had made a shield for it before the winter, but it had already been damaged. Now it's slowly starting to leak refrigerant.

Someone on the list mentioned they found a suitable Chrysler or Dodge replacement fitting that can be used instead of buying a whole new receiver/drier unit from the VW dealer ($$$). I can't find a copy of that message so if anyone remembers more specifics, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks, rob 93 EV GL 70K
