I had the same problem with my '91 Carat which also has a table. Had to remove the rear seat, rug, and then remove the driver's side wall and the table to get to the release mechanism for the table (I am not joking). If you don't do it this way you will make a nice gaping ugly broken hole in your wall. After we got it apart we released the table from the wall and removed the defective catch. Then we used a cabinet magnet setup to hold the table down so we would never have to do this again. Some others on the List have used velcro with good sucess. It seems that this is a common problem with this catch/release mechanism. As for the armrests, I believe there is a pin that must be removed in order to remove the arms. Look at the back of the seat where the armrest joins it. Use a flashlight. You should see a pin that you can push out and then the armrest comes off. I have never actually done this, that is just what it says in the manual. Ken Wilford John 3:16
