dave >> Ya but, those motors that they are sticking in now( the 1.9 TDI) are only 90 Hp and have around 145 of torque. Think about what a big difference an extra 25 hp will do and that extra torque too. Michael M. 87 syncro. The newer TDI's are 115 HP and 160 torque.
