I put the Prestone leak sealer/pump lubricator/magic potion stuf fin
last night. I'll test it tonite (showing my girlfriend how to drive it -
Prozac anyone !).

As for the compressed air test. It was tried and didn't work - or rather
it didn't leak into the coolant. Someone on the list stated that
sometimes these leaks only manifest thmselves when the engine is under
load (like doing 65 with a headwind).

I have used a coolant leak sealer, Prestone, It will work somewhat
permenently.
You can check about a leak from a combustion chambers by moving a
cylinder to
TDC (About) and then using compressed air to pressureize the chamber. If
bubles
or air starts to appear in the coolant lines you will know which
cylinder is bad
and maybe where the leak is if it is external.
