Just curious if anyone out there has figured out an easy solution to the starter location/fuel tank interference problem with this conversion (using a diesel bell-housing);I really don't want to use an adapter plate from Kennedy,or 'chop up' a perfectly good fuel tank.I have a few ideas myself, just curious if anyone has successfully done it yet,and how. I'm getting geared up to start on this, having the engine for a year now,and Otto,s heart about ready to quit.Got all the diesel pcs. FREE from a friend who's converting to a Buick V6. Also, planning to add an intercooler,as well as bump up the boost a tad.Any views on a good 'cooler to use, something recycled? Can't wait to get it all together, should be quite a ride! Gearin' up for the S. America trip,if it happens! Thanks in advance for any input you might have, everyone!
