I hope some of you on the list might be able to help me. I bought a 1985 vanagon 7 passenger van last November for $2000. I have driven it daily & just returned from a long trip to Missouri from Sacramento Calif. with no problems. I am moving to Washington state soon and already have another car & motorhome so the van has to be sold. I do not know how much to ask for it & I know it is hard to tell someone what it is worth without seeing or driving it. It has 207 thousand miles on it, it runs real good & has no head gasket leaks. It has pretty good Michelins, good steering & brakes. The interior is good but could stand cleaning. It has A/C & a blaupunkt stereo. It is far from perfect, but a dependaable good running van. It has pwr steering & brakes but I suppose they all did. It is silver w/ blue & silver interior. It starts instantly & runs strong. It could stand new valve cover gaskets but I have been too busy to put them on. What would you think would be the minimum amount to ask for it? I need to sell it fast as I am moving soon. I have clear title in my name. If any of you can even make a guestimate as to the value, I would sure appreciate it. Also, it is a California car with no rust, althought it does have a very small ding in the upper sliding door. Thank you all. Lonnie
