hi, this may seem trivial, but has anyone romved the face-plate behind the heater controls? Ever since I bought my Westy in 93 the light that illuminates the plate area has dangled amongst the control arms in behind casting unshielded, raw light through the control slots into the driver when driving -geesshhh!

I have tried to pry it off but haven't found the knack/method/procedure to get it off and I don't want to break it. Any hints would be appreciated. TIA, Bruce
