i am currently making hardwood panels to replace the plywood/particleboard panels that go in front of the rear seat and cover the rear heater in nonwesty vanagons. the hardwood panels are available in black walnut, allegheny cherry, or hard maple and are an exact duplicate of the stock cheesy panel, except, of course, much better looking! i hand finish them out of a solid piece of hardwood (no seams) and use a natural oil finish. the wood adds great color to the inside of the vanagons. if any listee is interested, the price is $90 plus s&h from ny. funiture building is just a hobby, not my business and the hardwoods are expensive these days, but the finished product is quite nice..... cheers jim catterson 91 syncro 93 ev gl ny
