David Wrote: So anyway. The questions. Where in the world does the OE jack (and tools!) store? The owners manual says "In a plastic bag under the drivers seat..", or something.. How do you get it IN there?!:) Got the jack, (and plastic bag!) and the double screwdriver, and the 10/13 wrench, and the lugwrench! Oiy! **The few vanagons I have owned and others I have seen have the tool bag and jack under the rear seat.
And the front table. Does it just store on it's pedistal all the time? Or what? PO stored it in the wayback.. ** I took my small table and placed it in place of the big table by the closet. (I'm able to access the closet enough to grab things out without moving the table.) i use my table only once in a while so the samller table works out ok. I used to wedge the large table between the cushins of the upper bunk. Now it gets stored in my attic. along with the leg from the small table. A friend of mine (and fellow LiMBO member) makes a handy little step that fits in the braket for the front table. He calls it a potatoe masher. Helps get up into the top bunk without climbing on the stove. For more info email Nevin Lesher. <nevin.lescher@snet.net> Thats my 2 cents, for what its worth. Good luck with your new toy. take care. -- -Jim DiGennaro --------------------------------------------------------------------- LiMBO, The Late Model Bus Organization, international zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz_ |E[__] [__]|[_]\\ '82 'GTi' Westfalia | _ LiMBO | _ || 'The VW DJ' =-( )---------( )-= James Digennaro, LiMBO's Editor and Web master. 20 First St. URL: http://www.bcn.net/~limbo/ Adams, MA 01220 ICQ# 5534528 LiMBO LINE: (413) 743-1814 'Transporters By The Tunnel' - A fun camping event - July 17th -21st --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
