Subject: Cleaning AC Evaporator
Comments: To: Vanagon@VANAGON.COM

Hi Listers, I have noticed that when looking through the open mesh screen for the rear, ceiling mounted AC evaporator that the radiator fins are full of lint. This has to affect cooling efficiency. Is there an "easy" way to clean the fins without pulling off the whole rear surround?? How difficult is it to remove the surround? Is the evaporator mounted to this panel or to the ceiling....will it fall on me when disassembling? Thanks for your help. Rob Lebo '91 Carat York, PA
