Hi volks!

The reason its unsafe to drive with the stove running is its got an open
flame. Also,if you were to say, have a pot of water boiling on it and had to
slam on the brakes, the thought of the result makes me shiver (they say
lobsters make sounds when immersed in boiling water - imagine YOU!).

As far as the fridge goes, the vent on the left exterior of the van is not
very well sheilded from the air current created by a moving van. While its
ok to leave the fridge on while tooling around a city or driving slowly on
scenic roads, driving on the highway will more than likely lead to the
fridge flaming out, which would activate the automatic shut-off valve, which
would lead to the fridge no longer cooling, which would lead to spoiling the
food in the fridge (if you carry anything other than beer in it). There is
no more risk of fire and/or explosion than if it is off.

An easy way to tell if the fridge is functioning properly on gas is to check
the green LED on the panel beside the water reservoir LEDS.
