One thing that may help you find it is to remove one fi injector plug at a time and see if all cylinders drop the rpm and stumble about the same amount. You should locate the weak one this way. If yours is a California van and has an ego sensor open the ego connector before pulling the injector plug. I would assume yours is a national as you mention it had an afm that caused a running rich condition and a California afm / ecu won't run rich if the ego is functional.
