I received my Haynes Manual for 1982-1990 in the mail Friday. The group purchase has worked out very well, and I would like to thank everyone involved in it. My first impression of the book was pleasure that it is hard cover, and surprise that it is thinner (1/2") than I expected. However, the pages are packed with information, and I find that the manual is geared to my level (advanced beginner). There is a cute feature of coding procedures by difficulty, from one "wrench" up to five. Since this is a British edition, there are some quirks, like measuring compression in "bars", using words like tyre and petrol, and a section on the "MOT" test checks. Overall, though,I am well satisfied. Thanks again.
