Sam, my understanding is that these are true origional vanagon five speeds. Todd Hill is on the list, does rebuild them and apparently can get them. He knows far more about them than I do.

Weddle lists the stock ratios in the 5 speed they sell as follows: 5.43 R&P with 4.11/2.33/1.47/1.01/0.77 Also offers: 4.86 R&P with 4.11/2.33/1.47/1.01/0.82. Other ratios available by specail order. Steve
