Another trick to get more out of your 12V fridge is to freeze some water
at home, maybe in a shallow tupperware container (watch out for
expansion!) and then put that in your fridge.  Yeah, that's an icebox
then, but it will help keep the food cooler during trips between 110V
power outlets or stops when you can use the propane.
