... has anyone noticed that there is HOT air coming in from out side, under the passenger seat, when you are driving along in 90 degree weather? i'm riding along yesterday, with the a/c blowing cold, and reached down between the seats ... and felt a blast of hot air, from under the passenger seat. when i touched the metal of the seat base, it was very hot (not warm) to the touch. the only thing i can figure is the outside air (especially the air exiting the radiator!!) is coming up that battery vent hose, and exiting out under the seat.

this ain't exactly what i'd like ... that means the battery is gonna get REALLY hot ... like in the olden days, when the battery lived back in the engine compartment!! :(

just wondering if anyone else had noticed that. joel
