The dimensions shown are the standard rectangular lights used on most vehicles in the US for a long time until they went with "areodynamic" lights here in the 90's.

Hella North America doesn't even offer the US Standard Vanagon 86-91 replacement lights anymore in the US thru their distribution channels (too much money - almost cheaper to buy from Volkswagen now), much less the E-Code lights for the Vanagon design. Guess it's time to find someone in Europe to do a group purchase. Personally, I would convert the 86-91 back to 80-85 7" round style and use the Hella 70476. Just my opinion of course.
