Subject: Yet Another Vanagon Warm Up Question...
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

Hello Folks,

Lemme jump on the warm-up bandwagon with the following question. My 86 Vanagon 2.1 just recently had the heads and rings done accompanied by an oil and filter change (20w50 and Mann). Now, right after starting, the idle is somewhat loping (rougher than before) and it hesitates (sputters) when intially accelerating. This morning it actually backfired once. Once it wams up, say 15 or 20 minutes....ops normal. I await the impending onslaught of knowledge.
