Does anyone know how effective one can expect the Dometic fridge to cool
while on propane?  This past weekend I ran mine for 4 days straight in
my '85 Westy. I kept a small temperature gauge inside to periodically
check how things were doing. Also, I ran a small battery operated fan
inside to circulate the air (Learned that from the list).

The temperature inside really varied with the coldest temp of 49F
occuring first thing in the morning.  During the day the fridge temp
stayed in the 60-70F range. Not very good :(

I used an ice chest for keeping most of my items cold and only opened
the fridge a few times each day to check the temp.

It was a hot weekend with outside temps in the 90F's during the
afternoons, but I thought the fridge would do better.  It seems to cool
fine on 120 volts. I'm willing to work on it, but want to know what's
the best I can expect. Are these thing suppose to work better?
