Well, MSDS has offered them for some time, and as to a 20-30% braking "power" improvement, well frankly your braking "power" is going to be diminished by removal of frictional contact area, but the drilling will of course provide more surface area for heat dissapation and prevention of fade. And maybe with green pads or in the wet allow for offgassing and improvement of performance. But IMHO cross drilling rotors don't do shit for you the first couple of stops, again plan not to fade your brakes and you'll all be better. Want more stopping "power" you're going to need a pad with a higher coefficient of friction. But as I've mentioned before I don't know about either alternative considering we are talking about a (relatively) thin solid rotor. If anyone has actual experience with these on a van, I'd be interested. The general concensus a few years ago among FWD types who actually like raced (SCCA various events) was to use non-drilled rotors and carbon pads as long as you could afford rotors. The cross drilled were one of the typical "magazine" common sense items, looked really cool but bound to cause cracking if run hard and not perhaps worth the cost.
