I probably should have posted this a month ago, as the problem has been going on for some time, but it appears to be worsening to the point that I have no chance of getting out from under it very soon.

The problem is that I'm getting about 50 e-mails every day, and am falling further behind by the day. If you need to reach me for the short-term, and need a relatively quick response, best to call me at (215) 234-VWVW. Hours are weekdays 11-7, eastern time (except Memorial Day). For fastest phone service, it's best to avoid Monday mornings, or any day between 3 and 5 (when I'm scrambling for my 5 pm UPS pickup), but any call will get you a faster response than e-mailing.

The situation will hopefully be solved by my new website in about 3 weeks. I cant wait for you all to see this beauty! A 10,000 part database (by far the biggest catalog on the web, or in print) with a search engine by part number (VW, Bosch, Rocky Mountain Motorworks, or West Coast Metric part number), search by description or keyword, and point-and-click ordering. Of course it will take months to fine-tune (it's been almost a year in the making already), but the basics should be there in a few weeks. I'll keep you posted. Hopefully it will permanently reduce my e-mail volume (most of which is "how much do you charge for so-and-so part"), but in these last month it has added to the backlog by demanding so much of my attention.

So meanwhile, please be extremely patient if you e-mail, or call if you're not extremely patient. :-)

Thanks, Ron Salmon The Bus Depot http://www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW
