Subject: Trip report - Indian Vic's in Anaheim, CA

Happened to be in Southern California on a business trip and went to see "Indian Vic" (IndianVic@aol.com <mailto:IndianVic@aol.com> ) to pick up a few parts I needed. His official business name is Z&S Inc., and phone number is (714) 666-2923.

Vic has a whole bunch of everything - Westy interiors, Carat interiors, jump seats (even the elusive "Theater" seats"), parts galore, and a rather large stable of Westys in various stages of restoration for sale (a couple that were REALLY nice). If you're looking for something that you've found tough to find, I'd strongly recommend giving him a call. I did give him a hard time about having all this great stuff, and keeping it somewhat of a secret. Its not intentional - he's just real busy, but said he will be developing a web site very soon and will compile an inventory listing for posting, so it will be easier for us to see what he has and what it costs.

Being from New Jersey, where you are lucky if you see another Vanagon or two in an entire week, being here in Orange County, California is quite unusual - seeing one or two Vanagons every block you travel seems to be the norm. Very deja vu - they're EVERYWHERE!
