Ron,
Great news.  Your life will be changed forevermore.  When this happened to us
it was wonderful but I was blown away by the intensity of baby care.  I had
never had to commit so much of myself to anything before.  It is undeniably
worth it!
We went camping within a couple weeks also.
Try hanging the baby carrier/car seat  from the pop-top hold-down bracket with
a bungie when you are parking.  It makes a nice baby soothing swing.
I found myself  relegated to the top bunk while mother and daughter stayed
down below.  There must be some easy way to make it more comfortable (air
matresses always seem to leak).
