I was talking to Tom at Tom Cat Auto Wrecking on Vancouver Island
yesterday.  I was asking him if he had any 2.0L VW engines in stock he told
me none this week but he did get two TDI engine in.  He told me "they
require rebuilding as they were both in a pretty bad accident" and I think
the price was under $1000, but don't quote me on this.  I didn't poke much
further into it but I think this is worthy of a follow up call if you are
interested in getting a used TDI.  Tom Cat's number is (250) 474 0253
