I was reading your post on your battery dying. How big was it?? Mine is a 32 amp/hr deep-cycle and I usually get about 3-4 hrs of constant power when I use the tv or plug-in igloo cooler. I think for the size of the battery this is right.

You can assume that with a 32 amp/hr battery a 1 amp item will last 32 hrs or a 10 amp item will last a little over 3hrs, such as the fridge in the westy. My tv/vcr says it draws 7 amps on 12 volt. I assumed this means 7 amps an hour and figured that the battery should last between 4-5 hrs. That's about right. But that's being constantly on. It seems when you turn an appliance on and off, you may get more out of it. -steve-
