Joel Walker is coming over from Alabama to help coordinate the "Vulture Pick, You Pull It, Vanagon Yard Sale", to be held at my home in Athens, GA on Saturday June 13 and Sunday June 14 (nearby camping available) For those of you who have already purchased parts by p-mail, be assured those parts will not be offered for sale and hopefully can be shipped this weekend when I actually get some spare time. Your patience is appreciated. Anyone who shows up can register to win the engine out of my previous Westy, drawing to be held Sunday. (Probably valuable only as a core, since the crank broke.) There is a large park nearby (about 4 miles) with plenty of camping spots, so we could turn this into an unofficial get-together as well. Or, if the response is large enough, I'll move the sale to my friend's farm which borders Hard Labor Creek State Park. Parts still available from 86 Vanagon GL (Blue) and 90 Westy Mulitvan (Burgundy): several exterior light fixtures (headlight, taillight, blinkers, etc.) steering wheels and columns black dashes and dash components gas tanks (one nearly new) interior and exterior trim pieces wheels and good tires (steel; alloys sold) upper bunk pop top rear seat (Multivan) interior panels exterior body panels (need to be removed) A/C entire interior curtain set (including sliding pieces and tracking) power steering suspension parts (need to be removed) owner's manuals assorted hoses, belts and brackets alternators, starters, batteries seat belts much, much more To register, just send me pmail. Thanks, John |
