We find we eat a great deal of pasta while camping. There is one item I haven't seen in this discussion and that is Kraft Dinner. Kraft Dinner is easy to make, is relatively nutritious and can be made fancy with the addition of tuna, peas, peppers, green onions, bacon bits, etc. Go crazy. In mentioning Kraft Dinner, I am referring to it in a generic sense, like calling all tissues Kleenex or calling all ASA tablets Aspirin (a Bayer trademark). Kraft sells more Kraft Dinner in Canada than anywhere else in the world. As a result there are many other brands that have sprung up and many of them are better than the original. So throw a box or two of KD in the Westy. Kelly Bauman Delta, BC '91 Westy |
