You needn't wait until you arrive at your evening resting place to start preparing your road kill meal. Make sure there is lots of aluminum foil in your Westy. Upon discovering your tire trodden meal, immediately wrap it in tin foil with an onion or two. Open the engine cover and place it directly on the motor. Several hundred kms later you have a delightful hot meal! There are several good roadkill cookbooks on the market that will give you recipes and cooking mileages for all sorts of roadside remains.
