On the open road and on urban freeways: Allman Bros Band: Jessica (several versions) In Memory of Elizabeth Reed (many versions) and Back Where It All Begins (a couple versions). At rush hour I sometimes need to ditch "Jessica" because it makes me too aggressive in my driving. When I get to where I want to be: R. Carlos Nakai (native American flute). Anywhere: Linda Ronstadt, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Chris Izaak. When the mood strikes: Leonard Bernstein, Chichester Psalms. Always with me, though rarely played, but just in case the mood strikes: "Whiter Shade of Pale"
