FIRST, my dealer only wanted $125 (marked up from his $90). SECOND, my local AutoZone wanted $60 (it is very nice) try your FLAPS. I'd also imagine Bus Depot or Old Volks Home for the same amount or less. The one that ticked me, $6 each for $3.25 (their cost) O-rings for the compressor, which are by any means about $.50 O-rings, I'm measuring the size before I install and posting the equivalent AN (Parker) size. I imagine the compound by looking at them is a low durometer silicone but I have no idea, might be Buna, I'll also list what Parker says to use for refrigerant. John vwbus@mindspring.com |
