Subject: Diesel to turbo-diesel oil line placement?

Hey anyone who has done this conversion,

Where did you plumb in the oil return line from the turbo to the sump. The stamped steel Quantum pan returns the oil above the sump level pretty much directly beneath the turbo, but if I put a fitting in the same location on the cast aluminum pan I'll be beneath the oil level in the sump which is a bad idea according to the people on the diesel list. So where did you put your fitting? Huh? Mark Thoma
